New Girls Team

After the success of the newly formed boys under 12 team, Cheadle Hulme are now looking to start up a junior girls team. Although recruitment is under way more girls are required so that the club can enter a team in the league this coming September. All kit will be provided and regular coaching will be given by a fully qualified coach.

Peacock's Off

Combative midfielder Chris Peacock has left the club to spend the next two years in New Zealand. The club wish him well on his travels.

Masters Mayhem

The club may not have any players in the world championships but several of the clubs players are involved in the grand masters tournament.
Welsh wizard Gareth 'Taffy' Jones has decided to represent England in the competition with Englishman Steve 'Fishy' Fish set to play for the Canadian team. Gary 'Tomo' Thompson however, who is as English as they come, has come up with the bizarre idea of playing for…….England! Weirdo.

Pre Season Training

Pre-season training is due to commence next week when the world championships are over, watch this space for exact dates and times.

AGM update

The Club's AGM was held on Tuesday 13th July.

Steve Bateman has become the 1st team captain of vice. Ben Ransome will now pass on all his his knowledge of tactics to his young understudy……when he has a spare 30 seconds!

Steve Pollock has taken over from James Bicknell as club treasurer. The club thanks James for 17 years service in the role.

More Junior Success

The club's under 12 and under 16 sides competed in a national junior tournament prior to the world championships at Fallowfield. Both sides reached the semi final stages and eventually finished 3rd in a competition where the standard was very high.

Senior Subs Due

Some senior subscriptions are still outstanding for the 2009/10 season. The club agreed at last week's AGM that players with subs outstanding will not be able to play next season until all subs have been settled.
In addition the club has agreed that all amounts still outstanding from the previous five seasons will be written off on the condition that the players involved pay a one off fine of £25. These players will be notified shortly.
Subscription payments should be given to Gareth Jones or Steve Pollock.
