Games re-start on 7th Jan 2012.
Manchester Airport Community Trust Fund gives
pitches a boost.
On the weekend of 6th and 7th August the club carried
out some much needed
drainage work to their pitches. The work was carried out due to
grant
funding by Manchester Airport Community Trust Fund and the club
wishes to
thank them for their kind support. The work is a major boost to
the
lacrosse club which now has under 12, under 14, under 16 and under
19 teams
in addition to its two senior teams but it will also benefit local
junior
football teams who use pitches on the field all year round and other
community groups such as the scouts who have held sporting events
at the
venue in the past.
Volunteers from the club pitched in to complete
the work with club
secretary, Colin Windeler who co-ordinated operations claiming "with
the
help of Manchester Airport Community Trust Fund the drainage work
has gone
really well and will mean many more games can go ahead this winter"

Senior training every Tuesday at the club 19:00.
Next Executive Committee Meeting at the club 20th
Sept, 20:30.
